Gluten free diet plan is the simplest and most effective diet plan for people who suffer from gluten intolerance or those who want to lose weight. In general, the plan is made to exclude all the products made of wheat, rye, barley and their refined flour. It is not the plan that is difficult, but the initial adoption that takes a lot of time. Here is a gluten free meal plan that will make you feel full and refreshed and adopt a healthy lifestyle as well. This plan is to be followed initially for a week and then can be continued with some changes in the food substances. As there are many veggies and fruits to be included, you will never be short of a great replacement.
- Breakfast- Start your day with egg recipes. You can get experiment a lot with eggs and include all sorts of vegetables to make an omelet or a frittata. You can take a cup of herbal tea as well. Also use a citrus fruit like orange or tangerine along with a quick serve tofu recipe as an alternative.
- Lunch- This is an ideal time to eat a bowl full of fresh veggies. Make a fresh salad and dress it with olive oil. Add a hint of lemon juice and a little bit of coriander or cilantro to enhance the taste. You can also eat a bowl of bowl rice cooked with veggies. You can also alternate this meal with a cream of tomato soup or a lentil based soup.
- Snacks- Any easy to cook cottage cheese recipe which can be alternated with lightly roasted almonds or fresh fruits.
Dinner- Make a broccoli and carrot lasagna or Mac and Cheese for dinner. You can also eat brown rice cooked along with veggies and eat it with cooked beans. If you want to make it very light, make a fresh vegetable soup and vegetable tamale. You can alternate it with red hot chili pepper or other bell peppers filled with your favorite veggies and baked with some low fat cheese on top.
